Creative Dance
Ages 3-4
Our Summer Creative Dance classes introduce 3-4-year-olds to the exciting world of dancing! In a nurturing and playful atmosphere, children discover the joy of dance through the exploration of space, time, and energy. Creative dance stimulates children's spontaneity and self-expression, builds physical coordination and confidence, and fosters cooperation and social connection. A variety of music and props are used to enrich the learning experience.

Attire
Leotard and footless tights, or comfortable, non-distracting clothing and barefoot.
Short hair that falls into the face should be securely clipped or pinned back.
Long hair must be secured away from the face and shoulders in a ponytail or bun for Creative, Primary, and Preparatory Dance classes.
Primary Dance
Ages 5-6
Primary Dance explores introductory concepts of ballet and modern dance technique through age-appropriate movement games and exercises that encourage kids' creativity. Classes encourage creativity, coordination, cooperation, and focus as dancers experience the joy of movement.

Preparatory Dance
Ages 7-9
Our preparatory dance classes provide a fun challenge to dancers ages 7-9. At this age when students can focus for longer periods, we introduce longer sequences of movement, and ballet and modern dance vocabulary, while still engaging in fun dance games and activities. Classes encourage creativity, coordination, cooperation, and focus as dancers accomplish more and more complex dance sequences.
