This is a class for people with little or no dance experience who are looking to explore new ways of moving their body and expressing themselves. Trying new things is hard, so we prioritize a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment where you can let go and explore! Through the fundamentals of modern dance technique, from movement patterns on the floor, to traveling boldly through space, class will build your strength, fluidity, balance, coordination, and awareness. You will experience the joy and power of dancing and explore your creative ability by making expressive choices about how you move your body.
This will be an ongoing class that spans the school year (36 weeks) however, students may join the class mid-year or take the class for just a portion of the year; please contact Dance Fremont for more information. Class is offered in person with the option to join via Zoom.
