The Steadfast Tin Soldier: A Story Ballet

Dance Fremont’s The Steadfast Tin Soldier, A Story Ballet, is celebrating its 23rd year!

This delightful story ballet is a family-friendly event that is suitable for all ages. Adapted from the Hans Christian Andersen tale of the same name and performed by over 50 young dancers ages 7-17, the ballet is beautifully choreographed by Vivian Little.

Audience members will be enchanted by the dazzling costumes, artfully crafted props and sets and a live ensemble of high school musicians performing a captivating musical score by Kathleen Mills.

Verbal story narration and Signing in Exact English (S.E.E.) make the story easy to follow for even the youngest attendees.

Performances are Saturday December 14th at 2:00 and 7:30, and Sunday December 15th at 2:00. Tickets will be available on Brown Paper Tickets or at the door!

Or, bring your classroom to our special school performance Friday December 13th at 10:30. Download our invitation letter or contact Dance Fremont for more information!
