Have you heard? We’re moving!

We will start Fall classes on Monday, September 12th.
Placement class and Steadfast Tin Soldier auditions will be on Saturday, September 10th
at eXit Space Studio Sea.
We will also have a meeting for new Dance Fremont families at 11 am the day of the audition. This year we are opening this meeting up to all dancers and families who have questions about our studio move.
Please check your email for updates about class locations and feel free to reach out to us with any questions. Thank you for your patience and support!

A brand new studio is in Dance Fremont’s future!

Our current home on Stone Way is being redeveloped into a new building with new and improved studios for Dance Fremont! While the building is being constructed, we will enjoy a wonderful interim space at 8420 Greenwood Ave N. The Greenwood studio features plenty of natural light, fresh air, and a modern HVAC system, and the area boasts excellent transit connections, many coffee shops and eateries, a library, and much more.

As we look ahead to our move into the interim space, we are reaching out to ask for your help in making it feel like home. If you would like to be part of the excitement, please email families@dancefremont.com with whatever help you are willing to offer. We will have a variety of tasks requiring volunteers such as loading and unloading the moving truck, installing our new marley flooring, and gathering new furniture and storage systems for the space. You can also help by sending in a tax-deductible donation HERE, choosing Dance Fremont on Amazon Smile, and other ways outlined HERE.

We appreciate the Dance Fremont community so much—we would not have made it through the last two years without you—and we’re excited to embark on this new adventure together!

This program is supported, in part, by grants from the Washington State Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.

AGES 3-18

Our program starts at age three with Creative Dance classes that encourage joy and expression through dance, while building foundational movement skills. These classes progress through age seven, and transition into formal ballet and modern technique classes for students age eight and up, advancing to pre-professional training in classical ballet and modern for high school-age students.

AGES 15+

We offer Intermediate/Advanced ballet classes on an open (drop-in) basis, as well as sequential courses in Beginning Ballet and Modern. Classes emphasize accumulative learning, using imagery and anatomical information help the adult student to understand clear movement mechanics. Our caring and experienced instructors joyfully welcome people of all ages, shapes, and sizes in a safe and supportive atmosphere.
