The Limón technique class is based on principles of weight, fall and recovery as established by Jose Limón and his mentors, Doris Humphrey and Charles Weidman. The use of breath, opposition, isolation, succession, musicality, expressive gestures and articulation of the spine help to develop dynamic and powerful dance technique. This is geared for the student with at least intermediate modern dance skills.
Private Ballet Instruction
By appointment only: $85 per hour
Time restrictions and traditional structure of a regular ballet class does not always allow for individual students' needs. We encourage discussion during private session and use of alternate tools or methods to address challenges one may experience in their technique.
